Her birthplace has long inspired Brenda's paintings in the rolling hills of Nebraska’s heartland and her grandparent's family farm.
Her love for travel, adventure, and history, living in D.C., and visiting other parts of the country and Europe, has contributed significantly to what she considers the genesis of her valuable education as an artist!
Beginning in Philadelphia, hired right out of art school, Brenda worked several years with a Philadelphia studio, where she illustrated local and national advertising accounts.
Later, in Atlanta, she met her husband Will, a successful art rep, where they lived, worked and grew their business in the heart of Midtown with their son Chris.
Before the 1996 Olympics, they built their home and studio and relocated to a quaint part of the rural Georgia countryside, where they currently reside!
Included among Brenda's long-standing clients of national note are Smithsonian Magazine, AT&T, Coca-Cola Company, UPS, The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Delta Airlines, France's Department of Tourism, and CNN, to name a few.
In the summer of 2010, at the invitation of a collector and friend, Bren saw an exhibit of the original works of Maynard Dixon at the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville!
In short, — it proved to be another creative epiphany!
Painting, exhibiting, attending, and leading workshops, invitationals, and traveling, Brenda has inspired and been inspired by America’s finest. Her commissions and paintings are held privately by corporations here and abroad.
