Old style or traditional Hawaiian dance. Avalon Paradea made the kapa for the background. Kapa is a tree bark cloth created and used in the traditional Hawaiian culture. Avalon is a local artist living in Waikaloa Village, specializing in kapa, plant dyes and earth pigments. You may see her art on Instagram at avalon.dawn.art. Scott made the paper sculpture figure.
