Hand thrown ceramic salt cellar with hand-carved koa wood spoon and lid inlayed with abalone shell and hand-woven leather cord. The koa wood lid is finished with Hawiian kukui nut oil and handmade beeswax finish from local island bees. All components are Hawaiian made by the same artist.
Dimensions: (holds approximately 10 fl. oz.), cellar outside 4.25" width x 2.25" height, inside cellar 3.875" width x 1.75" depth.
Washing with soap is fine, but wood is not dishwasher safe. If shine begins to fade, simply rub with any edible oil to renew the luster of the wood.
