Hamilton Kobayashi is a multidisciplinary artist and graduate of the University of Hawaii. Having spent thirty years in Hawaii framing art for sale, he picked up and put down his brush until befriending fellow artist Satoru Abe in 2003. He began painting again and his work captures the beauty and power of the Hawaiian landscape using bold shapes, soft colors, and post-impressionist techniques to diversify his subject matter.
